Necessities
One Sunday afternoon, while I was still in college, I realized, my boyfriend and I needed to make a run to the grocery store. Nothing big, just the fillers to get us through the day.
We got into the car and drove to the neighborhood grocers. After bagging up our 4 items; the bagger gave us a hearty, “Have a great day!” “Oh, WE WILL!” came my boyfriend’s enthusiastic response, eliciting snickers from the Cashier and the guy in line behind us.
Here is what we bought:
6 pack of beer
Tube of Pillsbury cookie dough
Milk
Trojans
I am so glad I wasn’t buying tampons, because that would have been embarrassing.
